Our History

Forest Sofa is primarily a family run business that has been manufacturing furniture for over 50 years.

Our Manchester factory was initially the hub of our production but due to continuous growth, Forest Sofa expanded to a second factory based in Blackburn, enabling us to have the capacity to manufacture large quantities of furniture, as well at the highest quality with our team of specialist workers.

All items featured on this site are individually hand-made in our Greater Manchester or Blackburn factories. We control the entire production process, from the hardwood frame construction and choice of wood for the feet, to the final stages of hand finishing in production, including individual studding on our Chesterfield Sofa range.

Our furniture is manufactured to order within our typical production time of 4-6 weeks from order, we only supply our products to independent retailers and interior designers both large and small across the UK and internationally. We are proud to a be a UK based supplier and manufacturer and have continued to produce high quality products made with love and experience.
